A hilarious, retro musical is playing at Oceanside Middle School next week, and the cast of over 30, along with a team of parent volunteers are currently working hard to put the finishing touches on the production.

Notthingham, The Totally Teen Musical is based on the legend of Robin Hood, set in Notthingham High School.

John Prince is class president and steals from the poor Saxon highschoolers. Robin Loxley, is a beautiful teen girl who returns to Nottingham High to finish her final year.

With the help of John Little, a former all-state quarterback, Robin turns tables on the rotten Nottingham Normans and ends up falling in love with Marion Shire (the good guy!).

For a special treat organizers are presenting a special Medieval Dinner Theatre before the show at 6 p.m. June 3. Audience members can roll up their sleeves and dig their hands into roasted chicken, bread rolls, veggies and dessert.

Four performances run May 24, 25, June 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. at Oceanside Middle School.

Tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $7 for adults, with a $20 family rate. Add $15 for the medieval dinner June 3. To purchase or reserve tickets, call OMS at 250-248-4662. Leave a message after hours to reserve your tickets.
