More than 10,000 dancers compete in range of categories at annual event

The 46th-annual Surrey Festival of Dance brought more than 10,000 dancers to the Surrey Arts Centre Main Stage stage from throughout April.

Competition included ballet, contemporary/modern, jazz, street, lyrical, tap and stage, song and dance, studio productions and international styles – judged by a panel of international adjudicators.

The closing of the festival (May 11) will include the No Borders Group Dance Challenge of top groups, and an evening event to honour winners.
