Abbotsford’s annual multicultural festival takes place Saturday, Sept. 26.
AbbyFest runs from 2 to 8 p.m. at University of the Fraser Valley, 33844 King Rd., featuring live entertainment, food, vendors and more.
The event opens with the Parade of Nations and words of welcome from First Nations representatives, Mayor Henry Braun and festival president Moe Gill.
Activities throughout the day include a martial arts demonstration, multicultural dance performances, an international fashion show, and music. Admission and parking are free.
