Don Alder is at home on stages all over the world, and he’s now bringing his guitar to Parksville.
On July 22, Alder will be back on stage at the McMillan Arts Centre (133 McMillan St.) in Parksville.
Don Alder is a multi-award-winning acoustic guitarist from Canada.
Just off his recent Asia, Europe and East Canada tour, Alder continues to perform to audiences around the world with his one-man band.
Alder will perform songs from various albums, including songs from his new CD titled
A & D. All of the songs are original material.
Alder describes his music as “honest music from the heart.”
Alder’s style of playing incorporates fingerpicking with simultaneous percussion to create a wall of sound.
The show is July 22 at the MAC. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $15 or $12 for Oceanside Community Arts Council members.
