South 2nd Deli is holding auditions for musical performers this Sunday, Feb. 21 from 2 to 5 p.m.
If enough people show interest in having a weekly performance night of local acoustic talent, Deli owner Linda Duboski says she will stay open late on Thursday evenings to host the event.
The deli normally closes at 5:30 p.m.
It won’t be a late night, Duboski says.
She would open at 6 p.m. and perhaps have an open mic from 7 to 8 p.m. and then the featured performer or performers from about 8 to 9 p.m. or a little longer.
She says they are now working on some coffee-house-style menus for the performance nights.
