Corny Rempel (Steinbach, Man.) was the big winner on the weekend capturing first place in the professional category at the Penticton Elvis Festival and the People’s Choice Award.
Second place in the professional category went to Mark Stevenz (Vancouver) and third was Roger Anderson (Bonney Lake, Wash.).
With his first-place finish, Rempel will move on to the Ultimate Elvis competition in August, which is in held in Memphis.
Princeton’s Darrell Douglas came second in the non-professional category. He was beat by Paul Rodriguez (Renton, Wash.). Coming in third was Rob Schwertley (Seattle, Wash.).
