Andrew Allen will be performing live while treating audience members to an intimate acoustic performance. Allen is the writer of Canadian hits “Loving You Tonight” and “I Want You.

“Andrew is a true live performer with an exceptional voice, incredible songs and limitless energy…not to mention a spatter of comic wit and story-telling ability that helps create a dynamic and interactive live show. He’s definitely an artist that embodies the term ‘live.’

He will be featured with special guest, local musician Corey Primus.

“I’m coming to play an intimate acoustic show for you and your friends at the Acoustic Emporium Mar. 31 and I don’t want you to miss it. My friend Corey Primus will be opening the night and promises it’s gonna be a good time — so get your tickets and come out,” said Allen on his Facebook page.

Primus’s sound can be described as “a timeless mix of alternative folk, pop, singer-songwriter musings.”

Primus has opened for Canadian Rock Legend Burton Cummings and Peter Janz. He has also shared a stage with renowned singer/songwriter Stephen Fearing.

Primus is known for music from his first album “Directions in a Foreign Tongue, and he has released recent singles including “Back To You,” “Middle Way,” and “We’re So Human,” on Soundcloud.

When it comes to Primus, “it always comes back to an acoustic guitar and a good song.”

The performance is scheduled on Friday Mar. 31 in the Acoustic Emporium at The Vineyard Community Centre at 45892 Wellington Avenue in Chilliwack. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 a head. Tickets are available in Chilliwack at Long & McQuade and in Abbotsford at The Sound of Music. For more information call 1-778-347-4761.
