Anela takes the stage in series finale

Anela Kahiamoe and his Band “The Experimenters” will conclude their Anela and Friends series on Thursday, April 7 at 7 p.m.

Expect Anela and “The Experimenters” to deliver a memorable evening of live music led by the exceptional performance skills of Anela.

A native of Hawaii and veteran of the Honolulu music scene, Anela has been a professional musician his entire life. Anela’ is known for his beautiful vocals, engaging stage presence and skill on guitar, ukulele and lap steel. Anela’s guitar skills range from shredding a Carlos Santana / Jeff Beck tune to sweet tunes on the Ukulele.

The Experimenters is a six-person band, loaded with talent. On  Trumpet is  Greg Bush, Professor of Jazz studies at Vancouver Island University who holds a Masters degree in Jazz Performance from McGill University.

On Steel Pedal is four-time CCMA nominated musician Evan Ehgoetz, who has shared the stage with the likes of Paul Brandt and Shane Yellowbird. E

On keyboard and vocals is Ralph Barrat. On stand-up and electric bass is Grahame Edwards and rounding out the rhythm section is Rob Peterson on drums.

The unique blend of instruments, fine musicianship of this band and warm stage presence of Anela will draw you in to an awesome evening of live music in the Carriage Room, upstairs at the Royal Coachman. Full food and beverage services will be offered, along with complimentary pastries and desserts.

Doors open at 6:30 and performance begins at 7. All tickets are $20 with advance tickets available at the Royal Coachman and The Music Plant on 11th.
