Anyone for dodgeball?

Youth Week continues with events at KSS, Parksville Community Park, the Baptist Church and Ballenas Secondary

Students climbed into clear plastic hamster balls and rolled acrossa the sports fields while listening to music.

There was an epic battle between DJ Killawattz and DJ B-Chuk who both threw down some sick beats, but in the end it was Killawattz who was the champion.

The collaborative event between the SOS, FRA, SD69, RDN also included a free BBQ sponsored by the City of Parksville.

Today (May 6), Kwalikum Scondary School is hosting a similar collaborative youth celebration from 3-5 p.m. that will include spirited games, including a hockey challenge with members of the Oceanside RCMP.

At Parksville Community Park, the City of Parksville will unveil a Pop-Up library at 3:30 p.m.

There is a dodgeball tourney being hosted by the Parksville Youth Ministry at Parksville Baptist Church on May 7 at 7:30 p.m.

An ultimate Frisbee tournament hosted by the Family Resource Association goes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Ballenas High School May 7.
