Last July Kris Andrews joined a group of avid birders and hikers for a four-day trek at  Nuk Tessli.

Later she retraced her father’s 1930 topographical survey route through the Flathead River valley for the Forest Service. The weather, wildflowers and mountain scenery were spectacular.

Andrews will share her stories and beautiful photographs in a free evening talk, on Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Scout Island Nature Centre. The event is part of the Williams Lake Field Naturalists’ evening lecture series.
