If people want to get their creativity flowing, there are all kinds of art programs running in Parksville and Qualicum Beach this summer and into the fall.
The MAC’s School for the Creative Arts in Parksville has a variety of child and youth classes coming up, including guitar and rhythm, youth yoga, creative photography, graffiti letter writing and more.
The age range for each class can go from three years old to 18.
The guitar and rhythm classes are for ages three to six with a parent, as well as seven-year-olds, while the creative photography classes, for example, are for ages eight and up.
These classes take place in August.

An acting workshop takes place from July 31 to Aug. 4 for ages six to 12 where the focus will be on Jack Sparrow and the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Registration is also open for a range of adult art classes at TOSH, starting in late August and running to mid November.
Classes on oil painting, watercolour and ink painting, drawing techniques, portraiture, Japanese silk painting and more are available, with cost ranging from $90 to $260 for some classes.
