The Vernon Public Art Gallery is showcasing local art with its annual members exhibition, Exposed.

Not only is it a celebration of local artists and their work, the members’ exhibition is a fundraiser for the gallery and visitors are encouraged to purchase displayed artworks for themselves or as holiday gifts, said VPAG executive director Dauna Kennedy Grant.

“We are very pleased to be able to showcase local artists at the Vernon Public Art Gallery each year during the annual members’ show and sale. We encourage the public to attend the opening reception on Thursday, Nov. 10 at the gallery. This is a great time to discover the art gallery for the first time, or re-visit us and see a wide variety of new artworks on display,” said Kennedy Grant.

Thursday’s reception takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy an evening of contemporary art, live music, appies, beer, wine and punch. Live music will be provided by local musician Marv Machura.
