The Abbotsford Arts Council is inviting submissions from post-secondary Fraser Valley students for an upcoming exhibition.
The exhibition, called Industrial Evolution, will examine how industry has evolved, its effects on our world and the ways in which we create, and where it’s going next.
Proposals will be accepted in a variety of media and disciplines for new works created specifically for this show and works already created that fit within the artist’s interpretation of the theme.
Artists are asked to submit 2D and 3D work in a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, photography, graphic and/or industrial design, sculpture, video and installation.
The exhibition will run at Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique (2387 Ware St.) from June 11 to July 5, with an opening reception at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 11.
