Fiddle concert

Bring in the holiday season with family based group, Everything Fitz – The Fitzgeralds on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at the ADSS auditorium.

Growing up in Canada’s Ottawa Valley, where fiddle and dance were ingrained in the culture, the Fitzgerald siblings learned at a young age how to engage their audience in a way that leaves them enamoured and wanting more.

The three siblings are accompanied by parents Pam and Paddy on keyboard and bass guitar. Former guitarist for Natalie McMaster, Nate Douglas, rounds out the program with vocals and acoustic guitar.

As youngsters, the Fitzgeralds were immersed in the rich tradition of Canadian old time fiddling and step dancing that evolved with the arrival of Irish, Scottish and French immigrants.

The siblings continue to push boundaries by fusing traditional and modern styles of fiddle and dance to create their own unique sound and style.

Tickets are only $20 and are now available only at the Rollin Art Centre.

This is a major fundraiser for the Rollin Art Centre, so please come out a support.
