Looking for that unique, homemade Christmas gift?
The Arts Council of the North Okanagan is inviting the public to its eighth annual Artsolutely Artisan Show and Sale at the Vernon Community Arts Centre (VCAC).
The month-long fundraising event for the VCAC will showcase 28 local artisans showing their wares in pottery, woodcarving, natural products, sculpture, photography, painting, prints, metal, jewelry, glass, fabric arts and much more.
“Shoppers can visit and peruse visually stunning, artisan booths showcasing the best of locally made arts and crafts,” said Lynne Gayan, VCAC executive director. “Artsolutely is open seven days a week so visitors can shop for the perfect gift at their leisure.”
The public is invited to meet the artists and shop at the show’s grand opening reception Friday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
The VCAC is centrally located in Polson Park. Parking is free.
Artsolutely runs from Dec. 1 to 24, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays, noon to 4 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
