The Thompson-Nicola Regional District Library System is hosting a reading and slideshow presentation by B.C. author Keith Billington at the Chase Library.
The free event takes place on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m.
The bestselling writer will read from and present a slideshow based on his new book, The Last Patrol. It details Billington’s experience recreating the famous ‘lost patrol’ of 1910, which was launched by the Royal Northwest Mounted Police as they attempted a nearly 800-kilometre trip by dog team from Fort MacPherson to Dawson City.
