Dr. Peter Boghossian, author of A Manual for Creating Atheists, will give a lecture entitled Faith is Not a Virtue at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford on Jan. 18.
The event, presented by the Fraser Valley Atheists Skeptics and Humanists (FVASH) and the BC Humanists and Center for Inquiry, will be held in Room B101 of the Abbotsford campus.
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the event runs 2 to 4:30 p.m.
Boghossian is a philosophy professor at Portland State University, where his primary research areas are critical thinking and moral reasoning.
Boghossian’s book will be available for sale at the event. The lecture will be followed by a question and answer and a book signing.
