The Envision Twilight Concert Series continues today from 7-8 p.m. as Back Door Slam performs in Fraser River Heritage Park.
Kat Wahamaa, Jennie Bice, Tony Rees and Joe Samorodin are Back Door Slam. Collectively they’ve received rave reviews for their music. Soaring vocals, strong harmonies, flying fiddle, swinging guitar, harmonica, bass, mandolin and washboard comprise their unmistakable sound.
Back Door Slam plays an eclectic variety of styles including country, blues, bluegrass and Western Swing; traditional music of the British Isles; and even Finnish folk. They infuse these styles with elements of East Coast kitchen party, punk rock-a-billy and a penchant for swing and rhythm.
Admission to the concerts is free, but donations are appreciated and encouraged.
