Ballet went all contemporary in the third weekend of the Surrey Festival of Dance at the Surrey Arts Centre last Sunday.
Among the performers were Lauren Phillips of Caulfield School of Dance (left) and Matisse Maitland of the Tri-City Dance Centre (below).
Now in its 49th year, the competition features 10,000 dancers performing acrodance, ballet, modern, contemporary, international, jazz, hip hop/street, tap and stage routines.
The festival continues with modern and contemporary until April 28 and includes the No Borders Group Dance Challenge and awards presentation on May 9.
