If you are a fan of the Alice in Wonderland tale, be sure to see the dance adaptation of Victorian author Lewis Carroll’s beloved children’s story performed by students at the Parksville Ballet School.
The story about the girl who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar creatures, including the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, the March Hare and the White Rabbit, will be danced on the Whalebone Theatre stage next weekend.
Parksville Ballet School is presenting a ballet of Alice in Wonderland at Ballenas Secondary School on Saturday May 12 and Sunday May 13.
Several young up and coming ballet students are performing in the production.
The May 12 performance is at 7 p.m. and the May 13 show is at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 each and are available at Hoochies on Craig Street in Parksville or online at www.parksvilleballet.com.
