Beach Flicks is back.
This marks the non-profit organization’s fourth season partnering with the Toronto International Film Festival and the Film Circuit to bring a number of new films to the Eaglecrest Golf Course clubhouse theatre.
The season starts off with the smash hit The Sapphires on Friday, October 18 at 7 p.m. Inspired by a true story, The Sapphires follows four talented, young, vivacious, Australian Aboriginal women who are discovered by a good humoured talent scout who has a kind heart, but little rhythm. He does however understand how to share the power of soul.
Beach Flicks has an upgraded sound system this year. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Oct 18 and tickets are $6 each. For a full listing of shows and dates check out www.BeachFlicks.ca and like the group on Facebook. Season Tickets are also available by contacting Beach Flicks on Facebook.
