Okanagan Beard Festival 2016

The Okanagan Beard Festival concluded Monday with 47 contestants bringing their best and bushiest beards to the Cannery.

Over $1,900 was raised and donated to Discovery House, a men’s addiction recovery centre in Penticton. The event was put on by Okanoggin Barbershop owner Peter Beauchamp and Tim Tweed of Splendid Basterd Beard Supply.

Best Beard: Richard Saunders

Longest Beard: Steve Kuhn

Thickest Beard: Oliver Taylor

Most Original Beard: David Gregory

Best Sculpted Beard: Kirk Jesso

Best Effort (beard): Connor Perret

Longest Moustache: Dave Sanders

Most Original Moustache: Neil Taylor

Best Beard/Moustache Combination: a tie between Michael Warner and Travis Rowe

Best Moustache/Goatee Combination: Jason Bungay

Best-Styled Moustache: Don Munro

People’s Choice: Brent Rowland
