Vocal group Belle Voci will be performing four concerts this month throughout the Fraser Valley as part of its Sacred Concert Series.
The Chilliwack Symphony a cappella ensemble will be having the first concert of their series in Chilliwack. The others will be in Langley, Aldergrove and Abbotsford.
Four concert venues in the Valley have been carefully selected for their unique acoustical qualities and ambience so that the audiences will experience the richness of the vocal harmonies in these spaces. Belle Voci has chosen a varied repertoire that ranges from Greek Orthodox liturgical music to lively spirituals.
For their first concert of this series Belle Voci returns to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilliwack on Friday, Sept. 16.
On Sept. 17 they will be at Langley Mennonite Fellowship. The following weekend, the ensemble performs Sept. 23 at Sts. Joachim and Ann Church in Aldergrove, and Sept. 24 at Clayburn Church in Abbotsford.
All concerts start at 7:30 p.m. Admission is by donation.
