Singer-songwriter Debbie Bergeron is back at Bozzini’s Sept. 15 with a thoroughly captivating show called Songs and Stories.
It’s a return engagement for the popular local recording artist, after last year’s sold-out show at the upstairs lounge.
The award-winning performer will be accompanied by guitarist Jeff Bowman.
Bergeron has always remained true to herself and her country gospel roots.
Playing intimate songwriter showcases at the Nashville Bluebird Café, Opry Mills Gibson Café, to headlining B.C. festivals and fairs like the Abbotsford Agri-Fair five years running, she makes a point of giving her all.
When not busy with charity work, she’s producing local concerts, such as the one at the old Arts Centre on Henderson, or at UFV Chilliwack, or belting the national anthems at Nat Bailley Stadium, Stetson Bowl at the Cloverdale Rodeo, and Ride to Live in Chilliwack for Prostate Cancer.
Bergeron has allowed select charities to highlight her music while fundraising. The BCSPCA borrowed a song and through CANWEST distributed the compilation disc nationwide. Her song, Please Don’t Forget Me, is en route to our nation’s capital in Ottawa, with the Walk 4 Justice and her song Break The Chain has been used at many Celebrations for Women and Transition Society functions.
Take the time to enjoy her clear and strong voice again, or discover the artist through an array of heartfelt songs from her last three albums.
