British espionage from an all-star cast

An uncovering of a soviet agent within MI6’s echelons in the March installment of Indie Films Fernie.

In the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a soviet agent within MI6’s echelons in the March installment of Indie Films Fernie.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (UK) is adapted from John Le Carre’s classic Cold War spy story and stars an incredible line-up of British acting talent in a film which takes a fascinating look at the disenchanted world of espionage and treachery. George Smiley (Gary Oldman), having been dismissed from the Secret Intelligence Service, is brought back into the fold to expose a mole leaking secrets to the Russians. The suspects are all top level secret agents and include Smiley himself. With an intelligent script and starring Colin Firth and John Hurt amongst others, this film is a good old-fashioned spy yarn and a must-see classic.
