The Keremeos Grist Mill and Gardens will celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday,
July 1 with an all free admission day.
Canada Day at the Grist Mill will happen from 3 p.m. to dusk following civic observances in Memorial Park in Keremeos.
The Canada Day celebration at the old mill features a barbecue cook-out, kids activities and a down home house band that will welcome open mike participation from actors, musicians, poets and story-tellers.
The Heritage Players will perform the melodrama Dirty Work at The Stopping Place.
Nearer dusk comes ‘mask-ectacle’ a dance. music and mask presentation about transformation that reinforces the importance of respect and unity.
Mask-ectacle features the combined talents of The Mootowns and The Cawston Players
