Canadian Country star George Canyon is coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Oct. 15 with his Decade of Hits tour, and special guest Jordan Mcintosh.
For fans it will be a must-see and entertaining retrospective, and Canyon will be sharing personal stories when he hits the stage in the Hub International Theatre.
“I’m a fortunate man to be able to do what I love for a living and to share a collection of songs from the past ten years with my fans, who have been instrumental in the composition of this CD by helping me choose their favourite songs for inclusion.
“Being given the opportunity to relive this journey is very special indeed,” he said.
The opening act for Canyon is 18 year-old Jordan McIntosh, a Top 6 finalist in the 2014 CCMA Discovery Program.
McIntosh’s talent was first discovered on YouTube.
The music video for his third single, Grew Up In A Country Song, earned him the title of Fresh Face Feature Artist on CMT Canada.
His country cover version of Lil’ Wayne’s, How To Love, has more than 248,000 views on YouTube. His single, That Girl, is getting some good rotation.
McIntosh also hit the main stage at the third annual Boots and Hearts Festival this summer.
