The Cariboo Gold Dance Band will be in concert at the Seniors’ Activity Centre Saturday, April 16.
Starting at 7:30 p.m. the band will be performing two sets of music featuring the popular swing band music of Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and many others who produced hits of the 30s, 40s and 50s, with a few new charts to keep it fresh.
This will be a family friendly event. Parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys the traditional Big Band sound is welcome to attend.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and there will be a concession available for coffee, tea and snacks.
