Presented by the Northwest Cider Association, Cider Week runs from April 28 to May 7. This year in celebration, Sea Cider in Central Saanich is welcoming the public to Sea Cider Farm and Ciderhouse for its third annual Sea Cider Social on Sunday, April 30.

To celebrate all things cider, twenty cideries from across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest will come together to showcase their styles and flavour profiles. Many of these cideries will be unveiling ciders made specifically for the occasion.

Cideries that will be in attendance are Spinnakers, Merridale, Salt Spring Wild Cider and Lonetree Cider, to name just a few. There will also be live entertainment and opportunity to walk through the orchard.

The event is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 or $35, which includes a shuttle from downtown. Tickets include six cider tasting tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased for $2 each. People are encouraged to buy tickets online in advance as they are expected to sell out; although tickets can still be purchased at the door.
