Celtic Chaos will be performing at Nanoose Library Hall this Friday.
The Celtic Chaos Ceilidh will be a fun-filled evening starting at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
A ceilidh is a community affair and a tale of two halves: a concert from 7 p.m. until about 7:40 p.m., then a break for organic apple crumble and ice cream and coffee or tea until about 8:15 p.m. and then a traditional dance with a dance caller.
The concert will include songs, poems and tunes. Then, during the break, the chairs are pushed to the sides of the hall to make way for ceilidh dancing. If people are not familiar with the steps, they need fear not, as the dance caller will guide them through the dances!
The night will end around 9 p.m.
Tickets are at Diva’s Vintage Kandy and Kakes in Qualicum Beach and also at Nanoose Edibles Farm store in Nanoose Bay.
Tickets are only $10 per adult and children are free of charge. All proceeds will be going to the Qualicum Refugee Sponsorship Group.
