With the spring recital season on our doorstep, the next few weeks are packed full of opportunities to see performers both local and from far and away in all stages of their performance careers.
The Sadok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble is back at the Performing Arts Centre today at 2 p.m. to present the Okanagan Ukrainian Festival.

Wednesday is the first performance of Honk! The Musical at the Powerhouse Theatre.

Thursday, the Louisiana Hayride returns to the Performing Arts Centre for a night of tributes starting at 7:30 p.m. Music from George Jones, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, Hank Williams and more are featured in this show inspired by the hit radio show from a bygone era.

The Armstrong Dance Academy is at the Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, May 31 for their production of Night at the Museum.
It’s an imaginative tour through classic paintings, pop art, natural history and ancient civilizations as performed by the academy’s up and coming talent.

On June 2 country musician Ronnie McDowell takes the stage at the Performing Arts Centre.
Praised for his riveting stage presence and genuine warmth, McDowell has amassed a string of hit singles including The King is Gone, which has sold over five million copies to date since he wrote it shortly after Elvis’ death.
This evening of vintage music that will pull at your heartstrings starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are on sale through the Ticket Seller.
Acclaimed singer/songwriter Luke McMaster is at the Powerhouse Theatre June 4 for an intimate concert.
Since his debut, McMaster has written and produced songs for stars including Rihanna and Christina Aguilera.His songwriting prowess shines through in his own songs, blending influences from rock, soul and jazz.
Showtime is 7:30 p.m., and tickets are on sale now through the Ticket Seller.
On June 7, Dawn and Robert King of The Kings are on stage at the Powerhouse Theatre for their debut album release concert. They’ve been on the tribute circuit throughout the Okanagan for the last 10 years and now these emerging artists have written and recorded their own easy listening music to share with their fans.
The music starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased through the Ticket Seller box office by calling 549-SHOW (7469).
And coming up June 6 to 8, the Vernon Recreation Complex will be the place to be for the Creative Chaos craft sale, which brings more than 200 vendors, a food fair, live performers and more. Admission is free and the selection of things to see and do will not disappoint.
Also, June 6 and 7 in the Performing Arts Centre foyer, you’ll find the Okanagan Potters Association’s Pottery Sale.
