Bobs and Lolo perform at Nanaimo North Town Centre Saturday (Nov. 26) at 10:30 a.m.

CHILDREN’S entertainers Bobs and Lolo are returning to their hometown of Nanaimo to perform during a free concert.

The four-time Juno award nominated singer-songwriters first met at a summer camp they both attended in Nanoose Bay and then became close friends when they attended Dover Bay Secondary School together.

Bobs and Lolo have received numerous awards for their work since they first came on the scene in 2003. Earlier this year, they were nominated for the Western Canadian Music and Industry Awards’ Children’s Artist of the Year award.

The duo’s album Dirty Feet was nominated for Children’s Album of the Year at the Juno Awards.

Bobs and Lolo have created six albums, a musical CD and the children’s book Run Salmon Run, as well as star in the pre-school series Sing, Dance and Play with Bobs and Lolo.
