Local artist Gary Haggquist continues the second of his Friday art gallery shows this week at the office of the WaterWealth Project on Storey Avenue.
“It’s a wonderful project. This is a collection of paintings, a retrospective in a sense, from three decades of my career,” he explains.
The next two showings are on Dec, 6, and Dec. 13, both from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the artist will be in attendance at each one.
“The WaterWealth Project is about empowering community residents to regain control over decisions that affect their home waters — the rivers, lakes and aquifers that are the arteries of our towns, cities and regions.”
Haggquist is donating 30 per cent of all sales, from the 19 pieces he has available from the last three decades, to WaterWealth.
The Haggquist art show will be at #4 – 45668 Storey Avenue, just off Vedder Road.
