Artist Tatianna O’Donnell starts the new year teaching painting classes in Enderby.

Classes offered to budding artists in Enderby

Let that special person in your life discover the artist within with four-week painting class offered by Shuswap artist Tatianna O’Donnell.

Do you have someone on your Christmas list who has always wanted to learn to paint?

In January, Shuswap-based artist Tatianna O’Donnell will be leading a four-week acrylic painting class to let that special person in your life discover the artist within.

“They will learn to illustrate a visual sense of depth, through brushstrokes, colours and composition,” she said.

O’Donnell’s students have gone on to develop their own style and many of her past students now exhibit in galleries.

“But that is not the aim,” she said. “The aim is to have fun, and learn a new skill, or hone in on something you already know.”

O’Donnell’s work can be seen on her website at www.tatiannaodonnell.com.

She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and an elected member of the Alberta Society of Artists as well as the Society of Canadian Artists.

The classes will be held every Monday from Jan. 16 to Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Enderby. Beginner and intermediate students  are welcome and class size is limited, so register early.

O’Donnell will also offer a two-day oil painting class, with supplies, in late-January.
