Elizabeth and Marcel Bergmann’s eclectic programs have entertained and inspired audiences for more than two decades. The international award-winning artists have a vast repertoire, and are presenting their best-loved piano duets this season.
On Feb. 7, 10:30 a.m., in The Port Theatre lobby, the Bergmanns perform with special guest percussionist Rod Thomas Squance.
This concert features music for piano and mallets starting out with a Bach cello suite transcribed for marimba.
Marcel Bergmann and Squance have worked on many projects and have developed numerous different combinations and arrangements of their own. The artists will present an eclectic mix of music from some of their own compositions to pieces from the jazz and popular repertoire. Tickets are $27.50; $24.50/members and $15/students.
