Here’s the plot synopsis: Harry Sullivan who hasn’t seen his son, Drew, in 13 years.

One day, Drew announces that he’s coming to visit Harry at his rundown Saskatchewan ranch.

Mending Fences is the story of their past, their present, and possibly their future relationship.

Mending Fences portrays human drama that is relevant to anyone who has ever been a parent, a son or a daughter, which includes us all. It tells a story that spans two generations but takes place over a few days. It is a powerful play that uses hockey as the symbol of a power-play between father and son.

Get set to laugh. Get set to cry. Mending Fences is the sort of comedy that steals your heart.

It’s presented at 8 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, to May 19, at Surrey Little Theatre, 7027 184 Street. There’s a final matinee performance this Sunday, at 2 p.m.
