SURREY —Tickets go on sale Friday morning (Sept. 18) for another fall show by the Just For Laughs gang at Bell Performing Arts Centre.
The national comedy tour includes a performance at the Sullivan-area theatre on Thursday, Nov. 19, event producers announced this week.
The show will feature Gerry Dee, star of the CBC sitcom “Mr. D,” along with “Louie” star Robert Kelly, Cristela Alonzo and Graham Chittenden.
This year’s Just for Laughs tour will feature “a relationship theme that encompasses family, love (or the lack thereof) and all the nonsense in between.”
The 15th annual tour is presented by WestJet.
Tickets for the show in Surrey are $45.50 (taxes included, plus facility and service charges) via Ticketmaster.ca, Hahaha.com/comedytour and 1-855-985-5000.
Dee is best known for playing a teacher on “Mr. D,” which echoes his past life as a high school teacher. His book, “Teaching: It’s Harder Than It Looks,” was a national bestseller, and another sitcom, dubbed “My Scottish Family,” is currently in development at CBC.
