• R. J. HANEY HERITAGE VILLAGE PRESENTS THE MYSTERY OF DUTCH CHARLIE

as the annual Villains and Vittles Dinner Theatre on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings. Dinner provided in Majorie’s Tea Room. Tickets are $24 for adults, $14 for children. Reservations are a must. Call 250-832-5243.

• SHOW OF APPRECIATION FOR AFGHANISTAN VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Our combat mission in Afghanistan ended on July 1. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 62 Salmon Arm will host our returned Service personnel and their families to thank them, at 10:45 a.m. in the Legion building, 141 Hudson St. N.W. 250-832-3687. If you are or know of any Afghanistan Veterans or their families, please pass this information on to them.

 

 

• RANCHERO-DEEP CREEK FIRE DEPARTMENT OPEN HOUSE

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – free pancake breakfast, free hot dogs for lunch. Bring the kids and family and check out our new fire truck. Walk through the fire hall and meet the firefighters. Spray a fire hose (also a little hose will be available for the smaller kids).
