Thank you to all the students and wonderful instructors who made this summer truly “Messy and Marvellous.”

Student art classes will continue into the fall as the Arts Centre will once again be offering an after-school fall art class for students nine and older, taught by Susan Gibbs.

The 10-week class will be broken into two five-week sessions starting Wednesday Sept. 16 to Oct. 14 and from Oct. 21 to Nov. 18.

Stop by the Arts Centre or check out our website summerlandarts.com to learn more. Preregistration and payment is required.

Adult workshops will also be starting in the fall.

Watch our website for scheduling of A Beginners and Beyond Watercolour Weekend, a Wet Felting weekend taught by Wednesday on the Water musician Allison Altherr, a Dry Media class using pencils to pastels and everything in between, and a weekend of Painting just for Beginners using Oil and Acrylics.

For those parents and grandparents who have always been a little bit jealous of the summer kids art class, Fun with a Pocket Knife, Rick Wiebe will be back to teach an adult version of the course called Whittle Away the Time.
