Parksville councillor Carrie Powell-Davidson put the prize package together and the winning bidders, among other items, got to spend a night at the Oceanside Village Resort, at night at Tigh-Na-Mara, mini-golf, Hot and Cool Yoga and a round at the Brigadoon Golf Course.

The News caught up to them on the beach in Community Park on their guided tour of the city with mayor Chris Burger and Limo Ride.

The happy couple said they had passed through the area several times but after getting to know the area a bit better, would definitely be coming back.
