Alberta’s favourite punk bassist turned cowboy crooner Corb Lund is returning to the B.C. Interior with a series of concerts also featuring Hamilton’s Harlan Pepper.

The Spring Thaw tour stops in Salmon Arm, Kamloops  and Kelowna on May 11, 12 and 14, respectively.

The tour comes on the success of Lund’s  latest album, Cabin Fever, released in 2012, which made the Polaris Prize long-list in addition to hitting #1 in Canada its first week.

Lund has kept busy since with showcases in Nashville and a recent tour with legend Ian Tyson for a series of shows called Cowboy Stories,  which premiered in Calgary during the centennial celebrations of the Calgary Stampede.

Harlan Pepper in turn are about to release a new album called Take Out a Twenty and Live Life to the Fullest, which already made its debut on CBC Radio 2 in early January.
