Courage Remembered: Vocal ensemble performance adds to Nov. 11 tributes

Christ Church Cathedral hosting Capriccio Vocal Ensemble for 2 p.m. concert

The music of Eleanor Daley, Morten Lauridsen, Arvo Part and others will be featured in this Saturday’s (Nov. 11) In Remembrance concert by the CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble at Christ Church Cathedral.

Led by musical director Michael Gormley, choir members will add their voices to the day’s tributes to those lost in the various wars and the military veterans who have passed on since.

Special guest artists include trumpeter Stevan Paranosic, organist Robert Dukarm and pianist Jane Edler-Davis.

The performance will include traditional observances for the Battle of Vimy Ridge centenary.

The concert starts at 2 p.m. Veterans and children 12-under get in free, otherwise tickets range from $10 to $25 depending on age.
