The Creston and District Public Library opens its fall Pseudo Night at the Opera series with the DVD presentation of Giuseppe Verdi’s Don Carlo, the thrilling tale of royalty, romance and intrigue in 16th-century Spain featuring stunning performances by Jose Carreras, Fiamma Izzo D’Amico and Agnes Baltsa, with Herbert von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic.
