Renowned Chemanius tenor Ken Lavigne is crooning holiday favourites in the days leading up to Christmas across the Island.
The Ken Lavigne Christmas Old-Time Radio Roadshow stops in Nanaimo as part of his Vancouver Island tour on Wednesday (Dec. 9), 7:30 p.m. at the Port Theatre.
His show harkens back to the time when families gathered around their radio and listened to shows starring greats like Bing Crosby.
Lavigne will sing songs, share stories and enliven the stage with the dramatic telling of tales. He’ll sing traditional Christmas favourites such as Jingle Bells, Little Drummer Boy, Baby it’s Cold Outside, Christmas in Killarney and others.
Tickets are $38, $18 for students and are available by calling 250-754-8550 or online at www.porttheatre.com. For more information, please go to www.kenlavigne.com.
