Choreographer and dancer Sarah Bild is sharing her intuitive style of dancing with Nanaimo residents during a workshop in the Harbour City.
The workshop, presented by Crimson Coast Dance Society, is called Stimulating The Imagination Through Action Theatre Improvisation. It runs May 12-15 at various locations.
On May 12-13, the workshop is being held at Kismet Theatre Academy, located at 112-55 Victoria Rd., from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
On May 14 it runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Malaspina Theatre. On May 15 it runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the theatre. During the four-day workshop, Bild will help participants improvise, explore and work toward a public show being held May 14 at Malaspina Theatre at 7:30 p.m.

Bild is teaching action theatre techniques, a form of improvisational theatre that involves playful and rigorous exercises to isolate and combine movement, sound and language.
Bild founded her dance company Bil-Danse in 1996.
The workshop includes 14 hours of development and is $125.
