Iam going to avoid the obvious puns about how big Godzilla was this past weekend but it became obvious that the movie company was ecstatic enough with the almost $200 million worldwide gross that by Sunday they announced a sequel. However, the mutant lizard has some competition from some mutant humans this weekend.
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens and, as far as super-hero movies go, this one could be as epic as The Avengers movie. It serves as a sequel to both X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: First Class and is based upon a storyline in the comic series that involves both the present day characters and some from the past. They join forces in order to change a major historical event and fight an epic battle that could save our future. Therefore, you will see the likes of Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin and Ellen Page star alongside James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Peter Dinklage.
