Delivering the bard in very merry measure

If small doses of smutty innuendo offend you, give Shuswap Theatre’s latest offering a miss.

If small doses of smutty innuendo offend you, give Shuswap Theatre’s latest offering a miss. But, if you are in the mood to laugh until the tears are rolling, make sure to see  the adult-only Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).

Directed by longtime theatre member Evelyn Birch, this hilarious romp through the bard’s large (often bawdy) body of work is well played by Nathan Zwicker, Uther Radcliffe and Marcus Smith. The chemistry is great and the three men play off each other very well – to amazing comic effect.

The play rolls out at 7:30 p.m. May 1-3 and 8-10 at 7:30 p.m. A matinee goes Sunday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets at Intwined Fibre Arts on Hudson Avenue or at the door.
