A defining voice of country music, and an icon and modern-day legend, Tanya Tucker has been inspirational to many female artists topping the charts today.

Rock.It Boy Entertainment and Country 100.7 FM  are presenting the country legend Thursday, March 23 at the Kelowna Community Theatre.

Thanks to a voice filled with sass and soul, Tucker has paved a path through country music and beyond, achieving incredible longevity.

From the signature classics Delta Dawn and What’s Your Mama’s Name to the Top 10 track Can I See You Tonight, plus the hit One Love at a Time and the career defining Two Sparrows in a Hurricane and It’s a Little Too Late, Tucker’s music  has proven to be timeless.

She has amassed 23 Top 40 albums, 56 Top 40 singles, 10 #1 Billboard hits, two CMA awards, two ACM Awards and three CMT Awards.

Her debut single Delta Dawn, recorded when she was just 13, earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and launched Tucker into the national spotlight.
