Desserted Island Comedy Tour hits the Quinny

The Desserted Island Comedy Tour is being touted as the “tastiest comedy night Campbell River has ever seen.”

Join Sandy Danto from Los Angeles and Kathleen McGee from Vancouver tonight (April 13) at the Quinsam Hotel, as they have prepared a feast of jokes to make you laugh for an entire evening.

Danto moved to LA after studying at Indiana University while taking summer classes at the famed Second City in Detroit, before immediately starting work writing, directing and producing comedy shorts at National Lampoon.

He is a character actor, but is equally comfortable playing himself – and did so plenty during his stint with the Lampoon. His work can be seen on NationalLampoon.com and on their college television networks.

McGee, meanwhile, is the girl your parents warned you about.

She will make you laugh and blush all at the same time. You may have seen her on Bite TV or on The Nasty Girls Show at Just for Laughs. She has been touring all over Canada for the past five years, and was recently named the winner for the Sirius Search for Russell Peters’ BFF.

She has won over crowds all over with her unapologetic, dark, and sassy sense of humour. McGee is sure to have you talking long after the show is over.

Danto and McGee will appear alongside special guest Abby Roberge at The Quinsam Hotel & Pub tonight (April 13) at 8:30 p.m.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and Tickets are $10 plus s/c and on sale at The Quinsam Hotel Pub or online at ticketzone.co
