Antics Dinner Theatre will bring the classic three-act play Our Town to Willow Point for a three-night run of dinner and performance beginning tomorrow evening.
Our Town is a vision of the enduring truths of human existence, played out with simplicity and great beauty on an almost-bare stage. It represents, in author Thornton Wilder’s own words, “an attempt to find value above all price for the smallest events in our daily life.”
The play is about Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, and the life and times of two families and the local residents.
As usual, Fusilli Grill will be catering a superb meal.
Shows are scheduled for March 26, 27 and 28 at the Willow Point Hall. The doors will open earlier than usual, at 5:30 p.m. each evening. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., with the performance to follow.
Tickets are $40.00, tax included, and are available at the Campbell River Florist. To be placed on Antics Dinner Theatre’s email list, email Anne Young at youngda@shaw.ca.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Campbell River Hospice.
